NUMSPACE PhD candidate – Job Description

Topic:
The relation between numerical and visuo-spatial processes studied by fMRI

What the person has to do:
Participate in paradigm design of fMRI experiments
Implement and analyze experimental results (fMRI and behavior)
Interpret and present results as scientific publication

What the person has to display:
Master degree in study domain related to Cognitive Neurosciences (Psychology, Biology, Medical)
Interest in neuronal basis of numerical and spatial cognition
Skills in and/or high motivation for developing skills in using computer programs for statistical analysis of fMRI and behavioral data
Skills in and/or high motivation for developing skills in using computer programs for experimental design set-up
High motivation to learn and intellectual curiosity
Fluent in English
Good social skills to work in a research team

– at the University of Luxembourg – EMACS unit
