The\u00a0 SLP\u00a0 adopted in 2001 a Code of Ethics whose objective is to provide guidance in professional practice and to resolve ethical issues.<\/p>\n

The SLP Code of Ethics guarantees the well-being and protection of people who interact with psychologists, promotes ethical behavior and high quality psychological services.<\/p>\n

It is inspired in its structure and content by the principles of the Charter of the European Federation of Psychologists Associations (EFPA).<\/p>\n

Every member of the SLP pledges to conduct in accordance with the\u00a0 Code of Ethics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advisory Commission of Deontology (CCD)<\/h2>\n

The SLP provides advice and support on ethical issues and rules on malpractice complaints against its members. In 2006, the Advisory Commission on Ethics (CCD) was established to regularly evaluate the Code of Conduct and to advise on its application and interpretation in a given context.<\/p>\n
